Why can't I see a document that I have uploaded?

You may have uploaded a document to RiskProof and cannot view it. This article will explain why and how to view it.

When a document is uploaded to the Documents module it needs to be assigned to a Division in order to view it. You may have permission to upload a Document however, this will not be viewable until assigned to a Division.

 

Please note, it is typically Administrators who have the permission to assign documents to a Division. 

 

To assign a document to a division, sign in to RiskProof.

Click the Documents module in the left-hand navigation.

Click the View tab.

Locate the document you wish to assign, click the ellipsis to the right of the Document name and then click Edit.

Towards the bottom of the page you will see This document is assigned to X divisions (view/edit).

Click the view/edit link and either start typing the name of the division or click Show all to locate the division. Once selected you will need to click Assign and then click Save.
