Q. What does the cloud icon mean on the checklist?
A. If there is a cloud icon on the checklist, it means that the information is syncing with RiskProof. The RiskProof app works on a local network which means the information you have entered on your device won’t be visible on the desktop version of RiskProof until the checklist has been completed and synced or the checklist has closed and synced. If your device is still syncing, please DO NOT log out of RiskProof otherwise all progress will be lost.
Q. Why can’t another user see that I’ve completed the checklist?
A. When a checklist is completed on the app, the information is stored locally on that device until it is synced with RiskProof. The syncing will only occur either after the checklist has been completed or once the checklist has closed. Even if the completed questions haven’t been pushed through to RiskProof yet, you will still be able to see them on the device it was completed on, provided it hasn’t been logged out of.
Q. How do I see the checklists for another location?
A. You will need to log out of the app and log back into the app and select a different location.
Q. How can I check if the system is down?
A. You can check on our Status Page to see the current status of our systems and applications.
Q. What information should I gather if I think there is an issue with the app?
A. The more information you can provide, the better and as a guideline, the below information would be extremely helpful for us to investigate the issue. Once you have all this information please email it to customerservices@shieldsafety.co.uk.
- Description of the issue (What were you doing at the time, was there an error message etc)
- A screenshot or screen-recording of the issue occurring
- Device make and model
- Username(s) of those users affected
- Operating system and version
- App version
- The name of the checklists affected
- When the issue first occurred
