Complaints and Appeals
Safe to Trade is fair and impartial and food business operators are encouraged to provide feedback. The table below details the time period that food business operators must follow to make an appeal to Shield Safety. Appeals should be submitted using this form.
Food Business Operator window to raise and audit appeal to the Shield Safety Certification Body:
If an FBO disagrees with the outcome of an appeal or complaint conducted by the
Certification Body, they can appeal to Safe to Trade by emailing details of the case to
info@safetotrade.org.uk.
