The Safe to Trade Register

Approved locations feature on the online Safe to Trade register which publicly demonstrates the FBO's commitment to food safety and provides transparency.

The register displays key information about FBOs including food business name and address, Safe to Trade status and consumer ratings and feedback. Consumers, FBOs and regulators benefit from using the register.

The register makes it easy for consumers to check which operators are Safe to Trade, helping to build trust in the operator and repeat custom. For local authorities, being listed on the register signals that an operator is fully on top of safety standards and readily able to demonstrate compliance allowing regulators to effectively plan and focus resources.

The register also connects FBOs with customers through consumer ratings and feedback. Positive reviews help to promote the food business. If negative feedback is posted we will contact you to give you the right to reply.

The register is available on the Safe to Trade website. Use the search bar to find a business.
